Hey there guys.
I've been using Media Center since around version 8 I believer, simply the best media player/manager/all around application around :)
However, I'm having some problems on my installation of server 2008 :( Its set up completely as a workstation (so basically Vista SP1).
When running in normal mode, MC and MJ 12 will crash after a couple of minutes playing (halfway into the first song usually, regardless of which track it is). However i'm now running in safe mode and its made it through a 5 minute song, so I'll update this thread if necessary.
My system setup is as follows:
AMD64 X2 6000+
2GB DDR2 @ 800mhz
160GB HDD
ATI x1650 Pro 256MB PCI-E
Realtek HD Audio
Windows Server 2008 Enterprise.
I should point out that my music library is on a seperate partition (where I have XP SP3 installed). I have MC12 on there and it runs flawlessly.
A second problem I've had - i'm using MJ 12 on the server 2008 because J River appears to have lost my registration!! I bought both MC10 and 12 - I have the emails and CC charges to prove it, but it won't find my email address when i type it into the restoration page :(

Interface Plugins:
last.fm (Active)
AudioScrobbler
--------------------------------------------------------------
Its been playing happily for 20 minutes in safe mode now, so I assume its one of the interface modules causing the problem. The system info here says Vista SP1, thats not true, but it is the same kernel i guess so maybe that explains why it detected that.

There was a last.fm problem related to logins. I think it's in the "Weird Problems" thread in my signature.

I can uninstall audioscrobbler but not the last.fm plugin?
I'm trying running MJ again now to see if it crashes after uninstalling audioscrobbler.
I also emailed you regarding the license :)
