I have just purchased MediaJukebox 8 (I have used it since version 6) and I use it on two computers.
The license restored on one of them, but on the one that I mainly use, when I try to restore it, I get an error in mediareg.dll.

Make sure you've got the newest Media Jukebox 8 installed. (build 33x -- available here on Interact).
Let us know if that helps...

Yes.
Most recent build, just instaled today, and I had even done a fresh install after removing media jukebox and cleaning out the registry files.

Please see the FAQ on licensing under jukebox/purchase above. A version 7.x license can be used with 8.0 but a version 6.x or below cannot.
-
That would be why I purchased the version 8 license earlier today.
That is the one that I can't get to work.

Do you have administrator rights when you do the license restore?

Also, try using IE. We had someone having trouble a couple days ago who was using Netscape.
Try this (fFrom the FAQ):
Q: How can I tell if I am licensed?
A: In Media Jukebox, click help->Registration Info
Q: Can I save the install key instead of installing it directly?
A: Yes. You can right click on the link and choose "save as" instead of clicking on it. Then, in Windows Explorer, just double click on the file to install it.

I have the regristration key for version 8 saved as a file, and I have tried unistalling media jukebox, reinstalling it, using IE, and also double clicking on the key file in windows explorer. Each and every time I get an error in regcontrol.dll.
