Title: ipod 160GB sync with MC12

Hi there,

I have a few questions about this product before installing:

MC doesn't have the ability to do a Restore on iPods yet but it can install firmware (except for Shuffles, 3G Nanos and Classics).

Does this mean that installing firmware is not possible on ipod classic?

Uh, yeah, that's exactly what it can install firmware (except for Shuffles, 3G Nanos and Classics) means.  ::)

I believe they're working on making it work, but it's not quite there yet.  Not that there's been a firmware update for the Classic recently anyway - if yours is not at 1.1.1, just update it with iTunes then bring it to MC and do a Reset to clear out the database.
