Title: Saving cover art to mp3 file
Post by: cascius on April 24, 2008, 03:59:59 pm
Hi guys, it's been a long time! I love the new cover art finder, it's such an improvement over the previous.

Okay, so here's the deal: I can't remember how to save the actual cover art image inside the mp3 tag.
Right now if i go to:
Options -> Library & Folders -> Standard Library Fields -> Image File
And select "Store in file tags", it saves the path to the image rather than including the image into the ID3 tag.

What I'm I missing? Was that option removed?

Thanks in advance,

- cascius

i think that one does not work for a long time. i think you need: file location>cover art> also store etc etc..
dont store them myself there, so maybe im wrong.

You're right in the sense that it helped to at least saving the graphic to the right folder, which incidentally works with other softwares. But in the end, I still LOVED the option of saving it inside the tag directly.

Maybe someone know of a way to do that within MC, otherwise i guess i'll have to use another software to save them all... :(

as far as i know the graphic is saved inside the file when selecting 'also store image in the file tag'.
