Title: wav files sound terrible

When I play .wav they sound all garbled. I play the same file in Windows Media Player or Nero and it sounds fine. Is there some setting that I am missing?

What version of MC are you using?

Check MC's DirectShow settings (under playback options) and make sure WAV isn't being played with a DirectShow filter.
