Title: No filter to render
Post by: Pete C on May 12, 2003, 11:55:59 am
I have a registered copy and all of a sudden it says it is not registered.  I got the following error when trying to play:

"Windows Mediam Player: No combination of filters could be found to render the stream."

Thanks,
Pete

Thanks for your response!

I am using MJ 8.0.393  I am trying to play MP3s (as I have for months) and all of a sudden it pops up asking me if I would like to register it and if I 'X' out of that window it opens MJ and when I hit play it says right above the play bottom "License Gen" and then and then a dialog box pops up saying "Windows Media Player: No combination of filters could be found to render teh stream".  This happens on every MP3 file I have tried (about 25 of them).

Copy your system info from MJ Help and paste it here.

Did you try uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling?

Did you update Windows Media Player to version 9?

Did you install any other software?
