Title: New Ipod User - ReplayGain/Soundcheck Verification

Hi,

Recently bought a 60gb video for use in the car. I store my main analyzed library as .APE files then transcode to mp3 any files I want to use on my portables and maintain a separate library for those. My understanding is that the Ipod with SoundCheck turned on, is able to use the ReplayGain value for "track gain" calculated by MC for volume leveling. Correct?

Is this true for both the old-style and the new RG tags written by MC?
