Title: Transfer Mp3 file onto flash drive - Help someone!
Post by: music07 on May 03, 2008, 07:59:12 am
Hello,

I am transferring my music onto my mp3 player
through the flash drive option - no problem.  However,
when the file transfers, it creates a folder and then stores
the file inside of the folder.

I do not want this.  when transferring, how do I transfer the
file without creating a folder - meaning it just transfers the mp3
file directly onto the mp3 player.  So when I view the files on the
mps player, it has mp3 files, no folder.  How do I make this change?

Thanks, Rick

Under Options for the device all you have to do is set the Audio path under Files and Path to "\" with out the quotes. I tried it it works.

Under file & paths:

I click audio path and there are no quotes to remove.
Yet it still stores the file in a folder.

This is what it reads:
audio path: [Artist]\[Name]\

Change  [Artist]\[Name]\  to  \

Quote
there are no quotes to remove

Robo983 means the quotation marks in his reply.
