Title: Tooltip delay too short
Post by: ADDiCT on May 05, 2008, 05:26:33 am
I'm currently in the proccess of tagging an audiobook, with a lot of tracks in it. The constant popping of the "details" tooltip (does this thing have a name? (; ) is quite annoying while tagging (and in some other situations). As soon as i'm hovering over a track for a millisecond, the popup comes up, obstructing a large part of the screen (happen with long paths and filenames). I think the dealy for the tooltip is much too short. I've searched the config dialogs for a way to increase the delay, but couldn't find anything. It'd be perfect if the delay could be user-configurable.

The default is half a second with no mouse movement.  That seems about standard.

There's no way for me to determine the exact delay - all i can say it's too short. When tagging, the tooltips get in the way all the time, and it's annoying and distracting to have the tooltips pop up all the time. Pretty please, with sugar on top - make the delay configurable (;
