I recently purchased a Canon TX1 digital camera and am trying to import/aquire the photos and movies into MC12.
The photos (.jpg) com over fine, but the movie files (.avi) don;t come over.
The options list includes avi files.
The .jpg files come over very quickly, then MC takes ages reading data from the TX1 but the .avi files never get aquired.
If I copy the files onto my HDD manually MC willl then import them from the folder and can play them, but it just isn't aquiring them.
When I look at the log file, all the .jpg fiels are logged, but there is no mention of any .avi files in the log.
All the movies start with MVI_xxx.avi, but they aren't in the log and there are several on the TX1.
I have uploaded a zipped logfile here:
www.thepalmers.com.au/temp_txfr/jrmc/Log_tx1.zip (http://www.thepalmers.com.au/temp_txfr/jrmc/Log_tx1.zip)
Any ideas/suggestions?
Thanks
Richard

We are communicating with your camera using Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) and it has known issues acquiring videos. We'll take another look at it...

Thanks for that, nothing urgent, but just wasn't sure if it was something wrong at my end or a general issue.
