I have 8.0.336 and am trying to change the default double-click action in windows explorer to add to playing now instead of playing (and killing what's in playing now). I tried changing the command line option from "/play" to "/append" but that does nothing (literally, it doesn't play or add to playing now).
Is there an option I'm missing? I've got the default doublick action set in the options, but that only seems to apply to double-clicking within the program, not in explorer.
thanks,
jake

Jake,
--> Options --> General --> Behavior --> Double-Click and choose what you want from the scroll-down menu.

I did the double click option, but it doesn't affect the behavior in explorer.

Jake,
Sorry, little misunderstanding at my side, but you're right, double-click in Windows Explorer always starts immediate playing.
Did you try a right-click --> MediaJukebox --> Add to Playing Now
Yves.

Yves,
I think the question is, what is the command-line option to add the file to the PlayingNow list as opposed to just play.
Currently the Explorer default option of play is:
Media Jukebox.exe" /Play "%L"
Is there some other option like
Media Jukebox.exe" /PlayingNow "%L"
That will put it in the playing now list?
Then we can make our own RightClick and Double-Click options in Explorer.
Jake knows he can right click to Media Jukebox --> Add To Playing Now,
Most people want to just add it to Playing Now without interrupting the song. Winamp had the same problem. You should definitely include this option with the next release.

Do a forum search on "Command Line". The entire list of options was posted not too long ago.
I just changed the default action for MPL files to
"C:\Program Files\J River\Media Jukebox\mjextman.exe" /Append "%L"
and it worked fine.
