Title: Toshiba Gigabeat S60 takes MC 12 5 minutes to recognize

When I attach my Toshiba Gigabeat S60 via USB, it takes the latest version of MC 12 about 10 minutes for the data to pull up in MC.  I am running Vista business.  Any suggestions?

Is this new behavior or has it always taken this long?

This problem has plagued my s60 from the start.  It was addressed a year ago and a few mc versions had the fix.  The problem has been reoccuring for about 6 months now.

Please turn off any MC plugins you have running, turn on logging to a file, restart MC, wait for MC to recognize the S60 and then email me (rick at jriver dot com) the logs.
