Hello,
the g-force plugin worked perfectly until I upgraded from g-force gold to g-force-platinum. The plugin is correctly installed and the version 3.8.1 is shown in the plugin-manager. But if I choose G-Force in the display-options (as I normally did) nothing happens.
This problem occurs with MC 120395 and 120497.
I have deinstalled g-force and mc (with registry) and reinstalled MC and then g-force (with the jriver mc option) but it's still the same.
The g-foce standalone Toolbar doesn't detect mc as a control-instance even if mc is playing a song.
The g-force ms mediaplayer-plugin works correctly.
I am working with windows xp servicepack 3.
I need help. Thank you.

I'm using MC12.0.499 with build 1074 of G-Force 3.8 in Vista and it works fine.
I have had problems with G-Force not working with every version between version 3.7.2 and 3.8. The G-Force crew have obviously fixed those problems now. If your G-Force isn't the latest build I recommend updating it.

It is the latest: 3.8.1. Platinum

Latest build not latest version.

I too just updated GForce from 3.6.x and it's no longer starting. Using version 3.8.1 from the main download page. Should we look somewhere else to get a different build of the same version? If any one has a copy of 3.8.0 I've heard that version works o.k. I'd appreciate a link to it. Thanks for any ideas or leads.

Try downloading the latest version here;

Does G-Force Standalone work? If so, the build information is on the splash screen when you load it up. My build is 3.8 build 1074 and works fine. Unfortunately I didn't keep the setup file, sorry.

latest is build 3.8.1 (1233) and it's not working with latest MC12 on XP-SP3

Unfortunate .... I tend to update G-Force infrequently for just this reason, once I've got a working version I stick with it.
I notice there's a 3.8.2 beta available - perhaps that's worth a try?
-
thanks for the tip, I missed the beta...
3.8.2b1 has the MC fix. :)

Where did you find the beta?

I guess you have to be on the beta tester list to download it.
Edit: I'm not sure what happened, but I re-opened SS web page and the beta update was there this time and dl'd ok. Thanks.
