Title: Tagging Files in Folder with German Umlaut
Post by: ralf on May 19, 2008, 03:15:23 pm
I tried to tag some files that were placed in the folder "The Köln Concert".
Tagging did only work after renaming the folder to "The Koeln Concert" and reimporting files.
Did I found a bug?
Regards
Ralf

Did I found a bug?

Maybe. Please post an example of the complete filename path so that the developers can try to reproduce the problem.

In addition, could you answer the following questions:

What is the file format and what program was used to create the files and original tags? (in case it wasn't MC12)

Are the files on a local drive or on a network location? If they are on a network server, what is the server's OS?

What is your Windows version & language and MC12 build? (You should always try the latest build before reporting a problem. Naturally the developers can't go backwards and fix old builds.)

You can post your system info from the help menu. (Help > System Info...).

OK. I tried it again with the same files and it worked now. Probably the reason for not tagging the files has nothing to do with the umlaut - but I can't reproduce what I exactly did.
Thanks for your replies.
