Title: No CD drive access
Post by: tuvx2 on May 25, 2008, 05:08:07 pm
I login as a power user and cannot play any CDs. I get an error. It works fine as an admin, and other programs have no trouble accessing the drive when a power user is logged in. Any ideas whats wrong?

I found the need file.
The FAQ has a previous topic linked, but the topic pointed to the wrong download directory (guess it moved).

Can't rip/burn/play CD's without Administrator rights:

The directory should probably never have been named tmp, but here's the file:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/tmp.old/SetBurningRights.exe

MC12 was installed on a client with local administrator account!
I encounter the same problem when I logon to a windows 2003 domain with a non-administration account.
Has this problem been fixed in the meantinme or do I still need to download this "SetBurningRights"-Tool?
