Hi,
I installed MC12 as a portable app on a USB stick working as F: disk.
Then I changed its drive letter from F: to B:
The program told me I had no valid registration any more. Downloading a fresh *.mjr file did not help as the program stated the license info was invalid.
I had to reinstall MC12 on the USB stick again and then *.mjr file was accepted.
Did I do something wrong? May I not change the letter of the drive where MC12 resides?
Kind regards

Try changing the drive letter first, then installing.

I understand that if I have installed MC12 on USB drive F: - then it should stay that way. no letter changes.
However, in my opinion, this contradicts the idea of portability: being able to take the USB pendrive with me and insert it in any compatible computer without taking care of drive letter assignments.
Kind regards

That's how it does work. Try installing it, then moving to another PC. It should work.
I believe you're saying that you're changing the drive letter (on the same PC) after installing.
