I've got a couple of 8gb thumb drives that I take to work. Set them to sync with some playlists in MC. Two days ago I syncd one and it seemed to work ok. Found a bad MP3 on it so I deleted the file from the thumb and plugged it back in. MC sees the drive but, doesn't have an optin to sync (like it's never seen the drive before).
Any ideas what might cause this and how to fix?

The only things I can think of that would cause that is if you ran Redetect all devices or uninstalled MC. Otherwise, as long as the device still has the same "system name" it should remember the sync rules. (I don't believe there's anything you can do to effect the "system name" of the device so that case is pretty unlikely.)

May have redetected when I had the Ipod problem last week.
