I just tried G-force visualization. I downloaded its latest release (3.8.1) from its website and installed it. MC12 now shows G-force as an option in the right-click menu in playing now screen. However, when I select G-force, it just displays the cover art. Is G-force not supposed to work with MC12 anymore (I am using build 12.0.507).

Works fine for me. Please note, third party visualization plugins do not work for file types supported by Quicktime, which includes M4A and M4B files by default. It does work for native playback types and for DirectShow playback types.
Assuming you weren't playing back a Quicktime-supported file as your test, I would try:
1) Close MC and then completely uninstall G-Force.
2) Go to your C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 12\Visualizations folder and delete: G-Force_JMC.dll
3) Delete your C:\Program Files\SoundSpectrum folder.
4) Delete your C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\SoundSpectrum folder.
5) REBOOT.
6) Update to the newest MC (currently build 512)
7) Reinstall G-Force, making sure to download the newest build, which is currently 3.8.1
8) ???
9) PROFIT!

I just tried this. But, it didn't work for me. Still no luck with G-force working. I am playing FLAC and MP3 files.

What kind of graphics hardware are you using? Also... are you using it on your primary monitor, or a secondary one?
Your best bet is to submit a support request to SoundSpectrum (http://www.soundspectrum.com/support/contact.html) though. I can certainly confirm that it should be working. I use G-Force and Whitecap with MC nearly 100% of the time. I'm using it now, in fact.

See the following thread. It looks like there is a bug in the current release of G-force, which is fixed in the latest beta release. I have the beta release and it works fine with MC12.

On a seperate issue with GF, is anyone else noticing that you can't right click the playing now area with GF enabled?

As stated elsewhere, the current 3.8.1 build of G-Force is not working with MC.
The current 3.8.2 beta build works fine.
right clicks in the display area also work fine here with the current beta build...

Sorry guys... I have the beta (I always update to those) so I never noticed that the official release got broken at some point. What build was it that .1 started to be broken?

glynor, 3.8.1 is broken, 3.8.2b works. I'm not sure if 3.8.1 is the first release that was broken, but I know that one did not work.
Osho, any platinum user of G-Force can sign up for the beta program. Otherwise you will have to wait until they release a public fix.

I'm running 3.8.1 build 1074 and it works fine. Anything later than that is broken till 3.8.2b1.
Can anyone confirm that 3.8.2b2 works ok?

Not sure, but I can confirm the latest version, 3.8.2.b4 works ok.

Was that done in full screen mode?

No.
It was in a detached, non-maximised window, resized to produce a screenshot suitable for posting.
The clues are in the first two menu items.
The screenshot is 'window contents, without window borders'

Ok. A better question! Are you able to get the right click to work in full screen mode?

Yes. On the monitor and the TV screen.
