Can you fill in more details? What were you trying to do? What happened when you tried it?

Subtitles for DVD playback can be turned on or off by using the following two methods:

1. Right-click menu -> DVD Options -> Language.

2. OSD menu. Press up or down arrow key until "Subtitles" OSD appears. Then press left or right arrow key to change.

No, you do not need any plugin. This feature is on standard DVD.

I can only guess why it does not work for you:

1. ConvertXtoDVD did not make the subtitle properly.
2. There may be issues with Vista 64.

I have two PC's, one with Vista 32 and the other with Vista 64. I convert the DVD and add subtitles with ConvertXtoDVD last version en the 64 PC, burn the DVD and I sow it in the MC12 in the 32 but not in the 64. Both have the ffdshow. It's unvelievable.

Try switching Video Decoder and Video Render:

Tools -> Options -> Playback -> Video -> DVD Playback Settings...
