Title: A Visit To Slaughter Plant

Today I Inspected A Very Large (Pig) Slaughter Plant.

This Is Where The Hogs Are Killed, Cut Up And Packaged For Retail.

All Pigs That Show Up Dead Are Removed From The Line.

Any Pig That Is In Distress Is Removed From the Line For Some Time Until They Calm Down.

It Was Interesting, But I Must Admit I Teared Up When I Seen The Pigs Cried Out, And Then Were Killed.

It Was Humane, And Quick (They Were Gassed) But I Do Have Reservations With Killing Anything.

Then They Were Hung Drained Of Blood

Boiling Water Bath

Hairs Were Burned Off The Body

Then Parts Were Cut Out And Off

I Know Being In Pest Control Industry I Should Not Have Those Feelings, But I Sometimes Take Flies and Other Bugs That Get Into my House Outside And Release Them.

It Took 5 Hours To Walk Around The Plant.

Today I Visited A Chicken Slaughter Plant For About 5 Hours, We Are Going Back Tomorrow For Seconds.

Yummy

Almost Makes Me Want To Eat Tofu.
