When a podcast is in 'downloading' status, it shows up in the sync queue to my iPod. The status shows up as 'on device' when it is neither on the device or in my library yet. Then if I try to sync, the process won't complete until the file is fully downloaded. This can be an issue with bandwidth limited podcasts that take a long time to download. If I want to do I quick sync before running out the door and a download that is going to take 20 minutes or more is running then I am SOL.
