Title: VMR9 Renderless mode
Post by: Mr ChriZ on June 18, 2008, 04:14:52 am
What is it, and why would one being using it?
I've searched for it in the wiki to no avail, but there seem to be regular updates for it.

That sort of explains what it is... but not why people are using it with MC?

VMR9 Renderless mode essentially guarantees no tearing when playing videos (which is why most games operate in this mode), which depending on your hardware , the time of day, and the phase of the moon, may occur in the standard VMR9 renderer.
