Hi there,
Not sure if this is an iPod specific problem or a MC12.514 problem. I imported about 600 new tracks into my DB yesterday and, after tagging them, synched with my iPod classic (160GB). Only the newly imported tracks have coverart and the cover art does not show to the right of the menu -- it just has a music note and "9024 Songs" where the coverart should be. In the coverflow menu, only new tracks / albums show up with coverart and existing coverart is gone.
I don't really want to re-initialise my iPod. What else can I try first?

I should also add that the thumbnails for my videos have disappeared also -- they were none in the sync process.

It appears that the image db got corrupted. Have deleted all tracks with coverart and all movies and am in the process of uploading them again. Not exactly fun but, I suppose, necessary. :-\

I am having a similar issue. I add new songs, the cover art disappears the next time I hook up to MC. I had about 4000 songs on there that I manually added cover art to, took way too long, that are all gone now. ?

Gone from where? The ipod or MC?
If just the ipod if you delete the music from the ipod and resync it with MC it should fix the coverart. (wait for the next build if using 518 though)
