Title: Registry settings for MC

I just upgraded my system and installed Windows Vista 64-bit edition. Getting ready to reinstall MC12. Will there be any issue merging my settings back into the registry from 32-bit Vista to 64-bit Vista?

We don't recommend saving and restoring the registry.  Sometimes it can contain paths, etc. that won't be valid on the new machine.  I'd recommend a fresh start.

one example of what Matt is referring to is the Program Files vs Program Files (x86) directories for the default installation of MC in 32bit vs 64 bit OSes
