Title: Album Artist Tags Not Displaying

None of my album artist tags appear to be displaying in Media Center.  They appear in windows explorer but not in media center.

Did you use MC to tag them? If not, I've noticed that other software, like iTunes, uses the MC field named "Band" for Album Artist.

But it's pretty easy to use the Copy Fields feature in MC to put all the Band values in MC's Album Artist field.

As dasfoo said, it may be possible to copy or move the existing tags. What program did you use and what is/are the file format(s)?

How is your question related to portable devices? Are you importing the audio files from a portable?
