Is it possible to have rating for albums?

Yes, but it will not include stars. Only numbers. Hope this will be rectified one day though.
You have to make your own library field. I have done this for Track, Album and Artist rating my self. I find the 5 stars to limited.

Go to Tools, Options, Library and Folders, User Library Fields and add you own field.
