An interesting idea that just popped into my head. Now that we have THE BEST interface to filter files down to, wouldn't it be cool to have a button or option in the library header menu to export the current search/pane/tile selection logic and export 'the filtering' (not the files) to a smartlist automagically, rather than having to re-create it in a smarlist manually?
You could even put it in the 'reset selection' link as a right click option, it would essentially be just the opposite of this. Rather than reset, it would persist it!
