Title: MC UI Components

Hi,

I *really* like the UI of MC, and was hoping to get more information about it..

Specifically, the Display Pane - is that something JRiver developed themselves, or is it something 'off the shelf'? It reminds me of the NeXT filesystem browsing dialog, but is much more useful for searching. I was hoping to use something similar on a website I am developing (nothing to do with music) - hopefully there is something free to download out there somewhere (and in ASP.Net!).

BTW, I really love the application - I'm proud to be a paying user!

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm afraid the answer to this won't help you much, because most of the user interface in Media Center was written from scratch by JRiver.  Even things like lists, menus, toolbars, trees, etc. are all our code. 

This was a lot of work, but it gives us total control over features and performance, and has some nice cross-platform implications.
