Title: Downloading high quality Youtube videos

I did a search, but can't seem to find any info. on how to download high quality youtube videos.

The regular quality downloads fine, but I can't figure out how to get the higher quality on the videos that offer it as an option.

Any help would be great, Thanks.

Hey, new here, I have a question for you: why does everybody want to get videos from youtube. I have a pretty nice collection on my profile on myspace.com and I'd like to get all the videos on my pc. I saw that there are many tools for downloading videos from youtube but I'd like to have a soft which can download from myspace. In my opinion this is the best site ever for music and until now I didn't find a app to get my music from this site. So can someone help me?

I just just used http://keepvid.com/ to get some high quality videos from YouTube and it worked great. In answer to the other question as to why get videos from YouTube, I was looking for something of Foster Brooks (yeah, it ages me) and couldn't find anything on Amazon, Ebay, etc. Then I thought about YouTube and there were a bunch from the Dean Martin celebrity roasts. Would love to get a copy of the Loveable Lush tracks but they're asking way too much in the online stores for the album and then I'd have to convert them too. Wish I never got rid of that album!

Could you give an example YouTube link that offers a high quality download?  I didn't know it existed.

Look under the video for "Watch in high quality"... you can toggle between that and "watch in standard quality"

What happens if you log into your account that prefers high quality videos? Does MC still download low quality videos? I do not have a YouTube account so I cannot try it out.

We'll try to get high-quality YouTube downloads when possible in a future version of Media Center.

I haven't had the need to download videos from MySpace yet but the website I mentioned will do it: http://keepvid.com/
