Title: Frequent crashes when tagging

Running latest version MC, which frequently crashes when making tag changes to audio files. Occurs about every five minutes. Repeated reboots don't solve the problem, and I've reinstalled MC. Cleaning 66K music files A-Z (spelling, syntax, etc.) and the constant crashes are very frustrating! Any suggestions? Thanks,

This is not normal.

Disable 3rd party plugins.

Use Help > Logging to record a crash and email the log to matt at jriver dot com.

5 minutes is about how long the old (bad) last.fm plug-in would work until it crashed.

I disable .flac plugin will I be able to see/edit those files ?

Hi Eric,

Try disabling "Get cover art" in Options > Library & Folders.

It's crashing, but I don't know why.  We'll add more logging to a coming build so we can dig deeper.

Disabled "Cover Art" as requested, continued with a few tag changes followed by yet another crash. What effect would disabling Cover Art have given that files are already imported into MC? Should I reinstall and/or reimport library? Thanks,
