Under MC12 the Display window is always blank on the 2nd monitor while trying to show videos. It is not blank for anything else, just videos (AVI's, DVD's etc.) It is not blank frames, either, it's just that nothing writes to the window. If I let the window overlap the monitors then the primary side will paint but the 2ndary monitor remains unpainted.
Windows Media Player does not have this problem.

Did you start playing in the second monitor or moved to it after starting? If it is the latter, did you try stop and restarting?
You can try selecting a different video renderer.

If you are running under Windows XP, with the default renderers, this is almost assuredly a setting in the Video Card drivers. What video card do you have in your system?

WMP doesn't have a detachable display. Are you using a "video overlay" mode? (for instance, in ATI's Catalyst Control Center it is called "Theater Mode")
