Hi,
I've reported it before. It's possible to get into a burn sequence that causes MJ to crash and not run unless PC is rebooted.
The only sequence that works for me is:
1. Select Songs to Burn into Playing Now list
2. Click Burn CD icon on the top
If I click CD, DVD, Handhelds first, as in trying to find out if blank is there; and try to go from there I'm gettting MJ crashes.
This has been the same over many releases.
I've learned to avoid the crash by following that one sequence.
IF someone at MJ wants to work on that problem, I'll do more detailed testing. So far there has been no interest from MJ side, even after several posts of this problem.
New users may get discouraged.

Durgame,
Some problems are specific to certain configurations. Unless we hear the same problem over and over, we tend to think it's a "hardware problem". It doesn't meant that it is, but that's how we have to function.
It's always possible I'm wrong. Ask my wife.

Does it make a difference if you have the "use generic driver" checked or not?
