Title: Could I have problems whith new versions of iTunes and Media Jukebox?
Post by: ajua on August 02, 2008, 04:52:47 am
Everytime there is a new version of iTunes and i use it with my Nano 3rd Gen Media Jukebox tells me that the database is in a new format and is recommended to use the latest version of Media Jukebox, which i always have.

One or two months ago i ran into a problem. I went out for a hike and i couldn't hear music on that trip because the iPod showed my songs but it refused to play (it did nothing at all when Play was pressed).

When i return home i had to format the iPod using iTunes.

Is this an issue I have to be aware of? I mean, should i wait for updated versions of Media Jukebox to sync when iTunes has a new version and i use my iPod with it?

I have iTunes 7.7.1.11 but i don't want to try to sync or transfer songs to the Nano because there are no new releases of MJ available yet.

Thanks.
