Title: getting contents on the iPhone via wifi
Post by: Qythyx on August 02, 2008, 10:09:21 am
So, I know MC doesn't support the iPhone 3G yet, but I'm considering getting one nonetheless. I was wondering, since the iPhone supports wifi, can't you copy contents (music, videos, etc) from local network shares and use it on the device? If so, couldn't I just have MC sync to a folder and then copy from there to my iPhone? Yes, that'd be an extra step, but at least I could get the contents there.

Are there any other options, aside from iTunes, at this point for transferring contents?

first off, I'd say get it.  I love mine so far.  But there'll be no wireless syncing for you unless something really changes.

I'll explain what I've come up with more later.
