Title: Problems Moving iTunes from C (boot) to External Hard Drive (L)

As a result of the usual space problems with iTunes on my Boot disk, I am trying all ways to move it to my external hard drive (500gb Buffalo) with FAT 32.

When I try to do this, I get the following error message:

"Error copying file or folder - Cannot copy itunes library - The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error"

Can anyone please suggest what is going wrong here and advise a way around it.

That sounds like a hardware problem with one or the other of your hard drives.  However, this isn't an iTunes support forum.  I suggest you try the Apple Discussion forums here: http://discussions.info.apple.com/
