Hi,
Excuse my english but i'm french...
I'm a registered user of MC12. Yesterday i installed the new version (12.0.529), and... I can't read any of my mp3 files...! Each time i play a file, i hear an awful sound..! As I understood, i have to pay 5$ to register mp3 codec ?

Hi Tonio, your English is great.

You do not have to get the MP3 encoder, it is included already. (Media *JUKEBOX* 12 requires the encoder, not Media Center 12).

I'm not sure what happened with your files, but try re-installing 12.0.529. If that doesn't fix it, go back to the older version to see if that works.

Try switching playback from Direct Sound to Wave Out or vice versa.  Tools/Options/Playback.

I Switched playback to wave out as you told me and it worked perfectly!
