Title: Ok to Load Itunes 7.7 w/MC529? using 5G IPOD?

I keep getting the message when I mount my IPOD that the Itunes app is out of date with MC. I never use Itunes anymore but don't like the message popping up. I still want to keep Itunes loaded in the off chance I can't find something on Amazon and want to purchase from the Apple store.

So, I didn't see any problems with compatibility with 7.7 and MC 529 using a 5G posted on the forum so is it ok to load it? Any known issues I missed in my search?

I think the only significant known problems are with the 3G iphone and touch.

Apple keeps moving things around to prevent support by other vendors.  I think eventually users may get annoyed with Apple.
