When at work, I like to plug my iPod into my work PC and play tracks via MC (better UI, use better external DAC rather than iPod)
This works, which is great in and of itself, but the way view schemes work with the iPod seem a bit clunky.
For example, I can't seem to configure the view to anything other than Artist / Album with panes on the left. I'd much prefer Album Artist [Auto] / Album on the top, like I have my normal library set up. I've got a lot of compilation albums in my collection, which makes the Artist pane pretty much useless.
Is there any way to change view settings for the iPod? (I'll take a hack if necessary)
I'm hoping there's just something I'm missing.
If not, can this feature be added down the road?
