Title: error message 1051

hello i posted a couple times before and never completely got an answer,but i was recieving an error message and then media jukebox didnt recognize my cdrw at all. well now i got it working but when it starts to burn an error message pops up again the same one error 1051.any suggestions?

The problem is your operating system. Do a fresh install of Windows of Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP and problem solved. Also, you might have bugs that websites gave you which can cause Windows to behave maliciously.

I can't find your previous posts (did you use the "danielle" username?), so this is probably redundant but could you post your system info here (find it on the Help menu in MJ). Also what is your burner model name (find it on the CD writer settings page). Also, are you doing audio or data mode cd burning?

Just off the top of my head with no info on your machine, you might try:

- unchecking "generic driver" on cd writer settings page
- installing new aspi software
- try different type of cd blank media
- lower the burning speed to 2X
- if you're doing audio mode, turn off "decode mp3 direct" option
- uninstall MJ (tell it to delete registry entries), reinstall latest version
