Here's the kind of thing I've been stumbling across lately, using the new Performer MC....
Listening to: 'Devoted To You' from 'Boys In The Trees' by 'Carly Simon' on Performer Media Center
It wasn't the one I remembered. So I found this:
Listening to: 'Devoted To You' from 'The Everly Brothers' Best' by 'The Everly Brothers' on Performer Media Center
and this:
Listening to: 'Hopelessly Devoted To You' from 'Back To Basics: The Essential Collection 1971-1992' by 'Olivia Newton-John' on Performer Media Center
But the strangest moment was when I read this about Olivia Newton-John:
"Although she was born in Cambridge, England, Newton-John was raised in Melbourne, Australia, where her father was the headmaster of Ormond College (her grandfather Max Born won the Nobel Prize for physics)."
Max Born (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_born) was pretty good with quantum mechanics.

I thought This Was Interesting.
From 1915 to 1919, except for a period in the German army
Born was a Lutheran, he was classified as a "Jew" by the Nazi racial laws due to his ancestry, and was thus stripped of his professorship.

Similar discovery some time ago about Hedy Lamarr; who wasn't just a pretty face. She received U.S. patent number 2,292,387 as co-inventor of the earliest known form of frequency hopping, today widely used in cell phones and other networking communications.
