Title: tracks in library and at least one playlist listed multiple times in pane view

This may be a basic question, but I can't find an answer in here or help anywhere, so...

All tracks in my library that are in at least one playlist are listed multiple times in Pane view. Is there a way to turn this off. I'm pretty sure I don't have multiple copies of these tracks anywhere.
