Title: when am i suppose to eject??

I use media center for syncing my ipod.  But when i put the ipod in its dock with  media center closed, it still says connect and that i must eject on the ipod screen.  I am only charging the ipod.  Am i suppose to start media center to eject the ipod?  seems silly

You could just disconnect.  The eject message is meant to keep you from disconnecting in the middle of the sync.  As long as you use common sense, you're fine.

so even if i am in media center but not syncing, i can take the ipod out without hitting eject?
