Title: Lose database everytime I exit MJ

MJ has worked fine for me until recently.  Every time I exit MJ I lose all file info in the database.  Everytime I start MJ I must import all of my media files.  The backup feature under the 'File' menu is also inoperative.  This means I can never turn off my computer.  Not practical when running windows.  I am using the full purchased version of MJ.  

Any help?

there was a problem in MJ 7, if your using MJ 7 you might want to upgrade.


I have not heard of this Problem In MJ8

I thought that I was on v.8 but see now that I am not.  Any idea what the cost is to upgrade?  I believe that I purchased v.7 in May of 2002.

It Is A Free Upgrade For You If You Have A MJ7 License.
