I use Yamaha CRW 3200E with Nero CD Burning Kit and it works superbly.  Recommend searching for the cheapest price at www.pricewatch.com

got it for $159 in Tel-Aviv

Do not know if it is a good price. But i would have to pay 18% taxes on the cdw|PLS|postage if ordering from outside Israel and the other big problem is the guarantee.Better to have it where you are

Thank you

Will let you know when back home and using it

Most of the time ,you paymore or less the same price than US.

Because there is not customs taxes with USA,just the 18% consumption taxes .This taxes are payed only once by the final buyer.I saw the same Yamaha cdr in a shop today at a little more than in Israel.Only new things coast more like 160 drive. My Maxtor 160 was around $300-320

I am sure that iam  the only one with a 160 in all the country!

Concerning the Yamaha cdr,i had a look to a lot of chronicals.

Safe burning is my first goal, speed is less.I think that this one is good at burning.

On zdnet France this drive has the most stars  for burning music.

anyway i do not burn a lot of records
