Here's a new observation on this issue:

(I'm using 12.0.533)

If I leave the option "delete files previously on handheld" unchecked, sync works. Every time, at least on my system.

Rechecking the option leads to the sympthoms described in "Round II" above.

The downer is, of course, that you have to manually delete files from the handheld.

I've given up trying to sync from MC via WM6 to the SD card instead I use an USB MicroSD Card Adpater and it Sync's just fine.

Are you able to reproduce the problem? If yes, a logged failure session would probably be appreciated by many!

For some reason, my HTC730 syncs perfectly now, even with delete enabled..
