Title: MJ doesn't recognize my iPod Classic

I just downloaded MJ 12.0.48 and it does not recognize my ipod classic 80g other than a hard drive

If it matters I have never connected it to iTunes or updated the firmware from 1.0.3 yet

I see many other questions about the classics so i assume it is compatible

You need to get the latest version of MC12, check the sticky in the top of this forum.

I have tried the latest versions of MJ & MC and I do not have itunes 8 (or any) installed nor do I have a iPhone or touch what sticky are you referring to?
