Title: If You Aren't Registered, You Have No Choice
Post by: glynor on October 01, 2008, 05:31:56 pm
The deadline for registering to vote is coming right up for many states.  The deadline for many is as early as October 4th.  But registering is easy!  It usually only takes a few seconds, and many states allow you register in all kinds of ways (including online).

Here is a great and easy to use resource for finding out how to register for your particular location:

Check it out.  It only takes a few seconds.  Have a voice this November!  And, if that isn't enough to convince you, check this out:

On the other hand, shrieking trite slogans against global capitalism and smashing store windows requires no pre-registration.  Something for those "register to vote" folks to consider.

I'm sure there's dry humor there somewhere, but it's gone right over my head.  Why should I have to register to throw a rock through your window?  It's my right as a freedom-loving, dog-fearing American isn't it?
