Title: Prime the pump this weekend
Post by: JimH on October 10, 2008, 03:24:33 pm
I'm going out somewhere tomorrow and blow $50, just to get this economy rolling again.  I'm tired of waiting for Washington.

Sure, if you'll accept a derivative instrument until I can find the cash.

I'll buy a piece of your derivative if you bundle it with future iPod support.

I've sold AAPL (http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=AAPL#chart1:symbol=aapl;range=6m;indicator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=on;source=undefined) short.  They peaked around the time we announced support for Audible (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/press56.html) and MusicGiants (http://www.jrmediacenter.com/press55.html).

Many's the time I was tempted to log onto Tech stock forums and start touting APPL (not AAPL).  At least back in the day, that was the symbol for Appell Petroleum, trading on the Pink Sheets at $.02 per share, and not moving.  Of course I never did this, small problem with them leading me off in handcuffs if I did, but it's nice to dream.

In the meantime, my shares of MC (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=mc.pa), trading on the NYSE, are doing just fine.
