Title: question: can I make snapshots (stills) from a movie live/video?
Post by: ShayB on October 18, 2008, 06:11:38 am
hi,
I am using MC12 (534) with a capture card. I can see live TV using the composite-video (I don't have RF-tuner on my card).

my questions are:
1. Using a capture card, can I create snapshots from "live" like in the "recording" menu (I use the composite-video channel)?
2. Can I make snapshots from Videos in my MC12 library?

and I don't mean the usage of the "print-screen" key...

thanks,
Shay

You can get a screenshot and save it by pausing the video and right clicking on the screen.  It may not work with some video types.

For video capture/TV tuner, the "Capture Still Image" option is on Advance Properties page (of TV Options). It is however not available to all devices. If it is supported for your device, and you enable it in the Options, you can capture a still by pressing Alt+SHIFT+PrintScreen key combination. If that does not work, you may need to use MC Command 28018 to achieve it.
