Title: Any luck with the Hauppauge HD-PVR?

Has anyone tried using the tv features with the Hauppauge HD-PVR?

look like not.
so I'm seeing if i can make this work and when i click on options under TV nothing happens at all. Im assuming this is where id configure what device is ised. if nothing happens is it because no card that will work is detected?

Even if no device was detected, something should happen - you should get a set of property pages.

Try this - Tools -> Options -> Playback -> TV Tuner -> Reset

Yes.

Help -> Logging...

Check "Output to a log file" checkbox, and make sure "TV" type is selected in "Types of events to log" list.

Once you tried to run TV, go to Help -> Logging... again and click "Click to email log file" link. My email address is yaobing at jriver dot com

EDIT:

Having said the above, I must also mention that this device is currently not in the supported device list. It will not likely work for now, but we will try adding it. Please do send the log files.

understood, and thanks. They finally release a component capture device for HD signal, and id love to be able to use it with MC

I got them. They did not provide enough info. I probably will have to get hold of one of such devices in order to make it work.

Any progress with the HD-PVR yet? I've been using mine with SageTV because MC doesn't event recognize it as a TV tuner device. I'd love to be able to consolidate everything into the MC platform.
